About the festival

With Opera op de Parade, Opera Zuid, Philzuid, and Theater aan de Parade bring top-level opera and classical music to the heart of 's-Hertogenbosch.  

 

Early in the morning, the first visitors arrive at the Parade. In the course of the afternoon, the square transforms into a lively meeting place, where thousands of people – armed with folding chairs and cool boxes – enjoy the finest opera and classical music together in the open air.

 

Every year, Opera op de Parade attracts around 10,000 visitors. The unique and high-quality setup makes the festival particularly accessible: for free and right in the heart of the city, you are introduced to opera at the highest level.
